Diamond Logistics Sees Enquiries Double as Fulfilment Demand Grows

Diamond Logistics, a UK-wide tech enabled logistics and fulfilment network, has reported a significant rise in inbound enquiries, doubling over the past six months. This growth is being driven by ecommerce brands looking for scalable, outsourced fulfilment solutions and improved visibility across delivery operations.

The increase reflects growing pressure on businesses to manage rising fulfilment costs, maintain service levels, and meet customer expectations. As in-house logistics becomes more complex and expensive, more companies are turning to outsourced solutions to improve efficiency and support growth.

At the heart of Diamond’s growth is Despatchlab, its proprietary logistics and fulfilment platform, which brings together carrier management, warehouse management and real-time delivery visibility in a single system. Designed by logistics operators rather than software vendors, Despatchlab enables businesses to maintain control and transparency while outsourcing the operational burden.

Diamond Logistics operates a national network of independent, owner-led logistics partners, allowing ecommerce brands to benefit from local fulfilment with national scale. This model has proven particularly attractive to scale-up businesses that have outgrown home fulfilment or single-site warehouses but are not yet suited to large, centralised fulfilment hubs.

As demand continues to rise, Diamond Logistics has set out ambitious growth plans for its partner network, with a target of reaching 50 network partners by Q1 2027. The expansion will further strengthen the company’s fulfilment footprint across the UK, supporting faster delivery times, reduced risk and greater resilience for its customers.

Speaking on the growth, Diamond Logistics Founder & CEO Kate Lester said the increase in enquiries reflects a shift in mindset among ecommerce brands: “More businesses are recognising that fulfilment is no longer a back-office function – it’s central to customer experience, cashflow and growth.

“Outsourcing doesn’t mean losing control, on the contrary, if done properly, it gives brands more visibility and flexibility than managing everything themselves, which from our perspective is becoming entirely unnecessary for the vast majority of start-ups and scale ups.”

With ecommerce volumes continuing to grow at a rate of between seven and ten percent annually representing over 38% of all sales in the UK, consumer expectations around delivery speed and reliability showing no signs of slowing.  Diamond Logistics expects demand for outsourced fulfilment and technology-led logistics solutions to continue accelerating through 2026 and beyond.
