Randy Daugharthy has been named the head of Amtivo US operations. This shows that the US market is becoming more important to the global provider of certification and assurance. Daugharthy will also join Amtivo’s Executive Team right away.
The new employee has worked in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification field for more than 25 years. This will help Amtivo’s top management grow its US certification business faster and improve the leadership of operations in each region.
Amtivo’s US operations now trade as Amtivo (USA) Inc., following the successful acquisition and integration of a number of respected certification brands across the United States. These acquisitions form a strong national platform, combining local expertise with the scale, systems and investment of a global group.
Randy will succeed Nick Wright, who relocated from the UK to lead the US businesses through a significant period of transition and growth. Nick will continue in his position as Chief Integration Officer, working closely with Randy to support his onboarding and to ensure the continued integration and development of Amtivo’s US businesses.
Caroline Plumb, CEO of Amtivo, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome Randy to Amtivo and to our Executive Team. He is a highly respected leader in the TIC sector with a proven track record of scaling businesses, building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable growth. The US is a key strategic market for Amtivo, and Randy’s experience, energy and customer focus make him the ideal person to lead our next phase of growth in the country.”
She added:
“I would also like to thank Nick Wright for his leadership while caretaking the role of President. His continued focus on integration will be invaluable as we strengthen and unify our US platform under the Amtivo brand.”
Randy Daugharthy said:
“I am excited to be joining Amtivo at such an important point in its journey. The Group has built an impressive portfolio of certification businesses in the US, underpinned by a clear strategy, strong values and a genuine commitment to customers and people. I look forward to working with the team to build on this foundation, accelerate growth and deliver exceptional service to our clients.”
He continued:
“Amtivo’s ambition, combined with its collaborative culture and focus on quality, is what attracted me to the business. I am looking forward to partnering closely with Caroline, Nick and the wider leadership team as we continue to grow Amtivo’s presence and impact across the United States.”
