    Ecommpay Appoints Roy Blokker to Drive Strategic Sales

    Ecommpay, the inclusive global payments platform, has named industry veteran Roy Blokker as its new Head of Strategic Sales. The move signals Ecommpay’s intent to accelerate its European expansion and deepen relationships with global merchants.

    In his new role, Roy will focus on building strategic partnerships with large, complex merchants worldwide. His expertise will help drive the creation of custom payment solutions designed to boost performance and set Ecommpay apart in a competitive market. Closely aligned with leadership, Roy will also shape the company’s commercial strategy for enterprise-level clients.

    “Following the rebrand and repositioning of the Ecommpay business in September 2024, the appointment of Roy Blokker to lead strategic relationships will further strengthen the Ecommpay proposition”, confirmed Arthur Gots, Chief Operating Officer, Ecommpay.  “We have a clear ambition to deliver payment solutions to top tier e-commerce and FinTech brands and Roy’s wealth of payments experience will be invaluable in building these collaborative partnerships.”

    Roy Blokker added: “I’m excited to join Ecommpay at this pivotal stage of its growth. With the support of the European board, I’m confident in delivering tailored payment solutions that help e-commerce brands scale, optimise payment acceptance costs, and drive profitability, transforming payments into a strategic growth driver.”

    Roy brings 15 years of commercial experience, including over a decade in payments. He spent more than eight years at Worldline, where he held strategic global sales and leadership roles. With expertise in localising payment strategies and leveraging payment orchestration, Roy has helped large merchants optimize payment acceptance costs and expand into new markets.
