‘The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy’ to Debut in Early 2025

The much-anticipated adventure game ‘The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy’ is slated for release in early 2025.

Designed for Nintendo Switch™ and Steam®, ‘The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy’ is a collaboration between Tokyo-based TooKyo Games Inc. and Media Vision Inc.

Kazutaka Kodaka, famed for the Danganronpa series, and Kotaro Uchikoshi, creator of the Extreme Escape series, have come together for the first time to direct and write the scenario for this new game.

The story follows Takumi Sumino, who was living a normal life in Tokyo Residential Complex until an unknown assailant abruptly disrupts his peaceful days with his family and childhood friends.

An enigmatic entity named “SIREI” enables Takumi to awaken the unique ability “Hemoanima,” which helps him escape his dire predicament but then compels him to transfer to the Last Defense Academy.

Fifteen students are gathered with a singular goal, as decreed by “SIREI,” to defend the academy for 100 days against the “School Invaders” and save humanity.

The “School Invaders” are a mysterious force targeting the Last Defense Academy. Takumi and his friends will utilise the power “Hemoanima” to confront the encroaching threat.

The Last Defense Academy boasts various facilities, and as players progress through the days and explore more, additional features will become accessible.

Fans of Danganronpa and Extreme Escape will be excited for ‘The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy’. It promises a fresh story for fans to enjoy, with character design elements reminiscent of beloved characters from Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi.

The game can be wishlisted on Steam in anticipation of its early 2025 launch.
