CluneTech Marks a Decade at Platinum Level in Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards
CluneTech, the Kilkenny-based software technology group, has once again been recognised as one of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies at a prestigious gala ceremony held at the RDS in Dublin on Friday, 26 September 2025.
The recognition represents a significant milestone for CluneTech as it celebrates its tenth consecutive year achieving Platinum status – the programme’s highest accolade, reserved for companies that consistently demonstrate outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and strong performance year after year.
At this year’s 17th annual awards ceremony, eight new businesses were awarded the Ireland’s Best Managed Companies (BMC) title. In total, Deloitte honoured 115 indigenous companies from across 25 of the 32 counties on the island of Ireland. Collectively, these companies contribute a combined turnover exceeding €22 billion and employ more than 62,000 people across a wide spectrum of industries, including technology, healthcare, and construction.
Founded in 1996 by entrepreneur Terry Clune, CluneTech maintains its headquarters in Ireland and operates across more than 100 countries daily, with offices in 21 locations worldwide and a workforce of over 1,200 employees. The group includes well-known brands such as TransferMate, Fintua, Sprintax, and Benamic. Notably, Immedis – a leading global payroll platform within the group – was acquired by UKG in June 2023 in one of Ireland’s largest-ever technology deals.
Commenting on the award, Terry Clune, CEO and Founder of CluneTech, said:
