MGAC, a global project and cost management consultancy, is expanding its UK operations by acquiring Flint + Partners, a boutique construction consultancy specializing in strategic advisory, project management, and cost management services. This acquisition solidifies the previous strategic partnership between the two firms, with Flint + Partners now operating under the MGAC brand. As part of this transition, Peter Flint, co-founder of Flint + Partners, will join MGAC’s leadership team as Executive Managing Director, leading the UK division from the London office to drive business growth and enhance client services.
Since entering the UK market in 2021, Washington, DC-based MGAC has experienced over 50% growth across its European and North American teams, now comprising more than 350 professionals in 11 global offices. In the UK alone, MGAC has seen a 30% revenue increase and expects to double its business within the next five years. Flint + Partners brings a strong reputation for successfully delivering client projects with an outcome-focused approach. Peter Flint, along with Directors Paul Davis and Radhika Sathy, will continue to lead their services and growth initiatives as part of MGAC.
“This step in our partnership with Flint + Partners allows us to be more agile and entrepreneurial in our markets,” said Mark Anderson, President and CEO of MGAC. “Peter Flint and I share a vision for a comprehensive, adaptable project management business model that leads industry shifts. Integrating Flint + Partners into MGAC further reinforces our commitment to client service, innovation, and inclusivity.”
In the UK, MGAC now has over 100 professionals spread across offices in London, Birmingham, Brighton, and Glasgow, offering services in project and cost management, portfolio management, technology solutions, and health and safety. MGAC has led high-profile projects for clients including the BBC, British Airways, NHS, ESCP Business School, and the University of Strathclyde.
Peter Flint, who brings over 34 years of global construction consulting experience, sees this acquisition as a way to accelerate growth and create an integrated service model. Flint’s leadership at Flint + Partners helped the firm build an impressive portfolio, including projects for clients such as Derwent London, ExCeL London, the British Museum, and the London Transport Museum.
Prior to founding Flint + Partners in 2022, Flint, along with Radhika Sathy and Paul Davis, held senior leadership roles at AECOM and Davis Langdon, culminating in his role as Chief Growth Officer for EMEA.
