While sitting close to Jessica Alba’s son, Logan Paul opened a $10,000 Pokémon booster pack, reminding followers that theatrics is still a language of power for him. However, it was his choice to speak out against his own brother in a tactful and public manner that garnered media attention, not the cards, the audience, or the nostalgia.

Jake Paul called for a boycott during the Super Bowl halftime show, even though Bad Bunny gave the first all-Spanish performance in the event’s history. With its political overtones and inaccurate information about Puerto Rican citizenship, the tweet was met with immediate criticism. What came next was a radically different message from Logan rather than damage control from Jake.

Logan said on X, “I love my brother, but I disagree with this.” “I’m glad they were given the chance to display the talent that comes from the island, and Puerto Ricans are Americans.”

The wording was measured and unambiguous. It was the type of statement that lands softly yet conveys clear intent; it wasn’t a PR-crafted essay. Not disowning, but the sort of remark that conveys estrangement.

Logan’s reaction was very creative because it was nuanced. He didn’t have to preach or make a show of it. He redirected the story instead. For someone who used to think of volume as visibility, this demonstrated restraint, and that restraint felt really powerful.

He has frequently been accused by his detractors of being theatrical and of pursuing controversy through redemption arcs and rebrands. However, such presumption ignores the deliberate changes Logan has made to his brand architecture over time. He is no longer only reliant on YouTube for input. Rather, his credibility has significantly increased as he develops a multi-platform presence.

Logan has transitioned from viral chaos to business-minded execution through clever partnerships and well-timed turns. His beverage company Prime Hydration, which he co-founded with erstwhile rival KSI, is now a mainstay in both convenience stores and sports venues. The brand expanded quickly by combining influencer marketing with conventional distribution, demonstrating that his intuition is not only profitable but also infectious.

Logan’s connection with the WWE has raised his profile in recent months in unexpected ways. As a dedicated performer, not just as a guest star. He works out. He is hit. He continues to show up despite getting hurt, most notably fracturing his jaw at Royal Rumble. In addition to being incredibly dependable, that level of consistency is radically changing how audiences perceive him.

During a press day in 2023, I saw him backstage and became aware of this change. He wasn’t surrounded by handlers or noisy. He was practicing a spot with another wrestler while standing close to a ring rope and softly tapping his wrists. The amount of work being done behind the scenes, away from lights and algorithms, really got to me.

His podcast, IMPAULSIVE, is still developing, shifting between long-form exploration and lighthearted banter. Although the tone is informal, the structure is noticeably more sophisticated than it was a few years ago, and the guest list is diverse, including boxers, influencers, and scientists. Logan is crafting a story that relies on intellect rather than just edge by bringing conflict and inquiry into the space.

He still makes mistakes. The blockchain project CryptoZoo, which collapsed due to claims of insufficient transparency and poor management, is still a stain. Even after Logan rectified the issues and provided refunds, some supporters were not persuaded by the project’s inconsistent marketing, which was discovered through investigations. It served as a brutal reminder of responsibility and the brittleness of online trust.

His capacity to proceed, however, is still remarkably resilient.

Logan Paul is no longer viewed as a social media celebrity in light of growing expectations. He is being assessed as a public personality with sway over several industries, a CEO, and a performer. It’s a higher bar. The scrutiny is more acute. The vision, however, is as well.

Logan reaffirmed his dedication to that changing identity by publicly disagreeing with Jake over the Super Bowl remarks. Being “right” wasn’t the point. It was about being prepared—for more significant collaborations, more distribution channels, and a reputation that endures.

He hasn’t given the topic any thought since he distanced himself from it. He resumed his training, opened additional Pokémon cards, hinted to upcoming battles, and made fun of larger visitors. His formerly disorganized attention span now seems noticeably more concentrated.

Logan’s career provides an especially useful model for influencers in their early stages of development. He stumbled horribly. He made a conscious adjustment. He continued to pivot until the structure held, without making a single change. It’s not common. And for that reason, he remains relevant.

The true question is not whether Logan Paul will continue to be in the public eye in the years to come. The question is whether he will continue to reap the rewards. If he does, it won’t be due to his former self. It will be as a result of his leadership development.
